Michael Hawthorne, a seasoned medical professional with over 15 years in both clinical and inpatient psychiatric care, had seen firsthand the emotional toll of the pandemic. Drawing from his deep well of experience in adult gerontology and psychiatric mental health, Michael envisioned something bold and restorative.
He founded Hawthorne Health and Educational Services (HHES) on May 23, 2022—a safe harbor built to meet the mental health crisis head-on with empathy, integrity, and evidence-based care.
